Hello World!

Chris has so graciously taken the time to set up this blog, and the rest of the back end tech stuff. I’ve been working on other stuff in the meantime, and now feel it is the right time for me to start contributing on a regular basis to this blog.

I wanted to let you know a little bit about me first though…so here goes…

I am a spirit, a voice, a skilled player in the game of life. I create what I focus my thoughts on; good or bad, and I take responsibility for bringing that creation forth. Sometimes the creation is based on belief systems that I took on from the world around me. More often, my creation comes from shattering the old beliefs and building new, stronger ones in their absence.

I am a student of energy and the universal laws of attraction.

Some would say I’m a survivor. I, instead, consider myself to be a skilled player of life. Being a survivor has a connotation that you have made it through some challenge, that in some way you were once a victim. I gave up that theory a long time ago and instead have shifted to life being a game board. The shift from ‘survivor’ to ‘skilled player’ (of life’s game) is my embracing the game that we are all in and strategically making my moves along the game board to make the most out of the experience. It’s not surviving through one tumultuous level to another, but rather accepting the experiences that I’ve chosen and loving the game I play in the moment to get to the next prize…and most importantly knowing that I can change my play, and prize, at any time.

Right now, the roll of my dice has allowed me to draw a new card. It reads “free move to any space on the board you desire”.

I hope you’ll join me as I decide where to go next.
